I was watching a documentry the other day talking about how the comics indusrty helped the war effort in WWII. It got me thinking about how the characters themselves could have been marketed (if they were real). It something I can imagine Alex Ross tackling at some point since he's such a fan of the Golden Age stuff.
Just to add some extra relaity I aged the poster quite a bit. Of course the model is Monica Belluci (who I have always though would be best for the part).
Lucy Lawless (in her prime) would have been intersting too. I really love this one. I would like to see where you could take this, maybe a hot female "Uncle Sam", or even some superhero nose art on a few bombers? A lot of room to play with, thanks!
